With new and fair electoral maps finally in place, the Wisconsin Senate is the most flippable legislative chamber in the country. Senate Democrats need to flip two seats to win our first majority in over a decade. Adding to Democratic optimism, the Republicans up for re-election now represent three districts that were won by both Senator Tammy Baldwin and Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024.
While the excitement is palpable, Senate Democrats are laser-focused on Wisconsinites’ core issue: affordability. When Senate Democrats regain the majority, there will be no time wasted addressing the needs of the state. The Affordable Wisconsin agenda will be honed through ongoing conversations with constituents between now and next November, allowing Senate Democrats to begin making positive change for Wisconsin from day one.
